We are all used to see old furniture in rustic/woodsy/Bohemian weddings. To be honest, it is not a surprise any more to see a photo zone formed of antique furniture + few old-fashioned suitcases or beautiful lacquered table which belonged to the grandmother of the bride covered with favours or hosting the most amazing guest book or seating plan… So, need a fresh air here. Yes or no?

So… you basically can:

Open the drawer…

…, put some cellophane inside (to prevent leaking), then – oasis and then… make pretty wild floral arrangement. Who is with me??

 

Ehhh… Such a romantic vintage decor element with a twist of wildness!

Another way to use old furniture in original way would be…

 

…to think outside the box.

 

Or… outside the chest, ha ha. For example, use antique furniture simply forgeting their original purpose. For example, interpret the old wooden storage chest as desert table.

And last but not least:

Use just the door

And make a wedding sign. How cool is this idea?! Do you have a super old cabinet or cupboard in your storage and it is about to be thrown away? Well, think one more time then!

 

By the way, this one is quite symbolic: the door with ‘Happily Ever After Starts Here‘ on it. We always need to open the new doors to start something, don’t we?…
