It’s no secret, that well-made fruit centerpieces are stunning. They remind those rich, luxurious and yet whimsical baroque paintings, don’t they? Moreover, this type of centerpiece is quite sustainable. The seasonal, local fruits left after your wedding can be eaten or donated to those in need. The problem is… Well, you know, fruits are such simple things from everyday life. How to put them nicely together that people wouldn’t think that you just took a bowl of fruits from your kitchen and put on your wedding table? Well, let me suggest a few simple ideas for you!
1. Go mono-fruit
I must say this one is super easy. You just need to choose the type of fruit you wish to use for your decor and that’s, basically, all! You could consider choosing your favourite fruit or simply the one that matches your wedding theme or color palette. And then you can fill beautiful containers with the type of fruit you’ve chosen or just scatter them in the middle of your table. Although this idea of fruit centerpieces is minimalist and simple, I am pretty sure there will be quite a few fans of it!
2. Choose analogous colors
If you wish to mix and match the different fruits, choose the ones in analogous colours. The latter are groups of three colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel. In this way you will manage to keep a sophisticated, uncomplicated and stylish palette. Put your chosen fruits into the matching container and you will have a real art masterpiece!
3. Just… take that bowl of fruits from your kitchen
Yes, I remember what I wrote down in the intro part of this post. And I did it for a purpose. I just wanted to show you that there is not need to fear of simplicity. Fruits as well as flowers are already the perfect creations of the Mother nature. Just find few big bowls, put different fruit varieties together into them and voila! Is there a simpler way to make fruit centerpieces??
4. Leave them hanging
Not a fan of big bowls full of fruits? There is no reason why you could not have tall fruit centerpieces! You just need to find your perfect tall vase or stand. And you always can add a few blooming flowers or strands of greenery for more good vibes.
