Bark & branches as spring wedding décor? Oh yes, please!

Is it spring yet?

Well, it’s the spring equinox 2021 in Northern Hemisphere on 20 March, meaning that the springtime is officially upon us. Yay! And nature is starting to wake up from its long wintry sleep. Here in Northern Ireland the most reliable sign of the season – daffodils – are brightening grey and rainy days already. Also a number of trees are bearing catkins. I simply love catkins! While walking by the lake yesterday I thought that these long slim spring flowers without petals (such a strange description, ha ha) could be a unique wedding table decor detail. Use dark and (or) golden coloured crockery and cutlery set to finish the stylish ensemble.

Throw in some tree bark

Looking for some more add-ons for this early spring style table decor? Fill some bowls with pieces of striking, ornamental bark. Oh yes, I know, sounds highly unusual. But please believe me, the bark & branches with catkins duo is really eye-catching. Your spring wedding decorations won’t go unnoticed!
