Celebrate your special day in an animal shelter

I imagine one may wonder how a wedding and an animal shelter are connected to each other. And actually, they are not. But please bear with me. I would like to share some of my thoughts on this. I promise – you will get inspired!

Quality time & awesome pictures

Needless to say, wedding photo shoots with animals are very popular between couples who are getting married. These furry guests, whatever they are dogs, lamas, camels or guinea pigs, attract lots of attention at weddings and later on the happy newlyweds can enjoy amazing photos precisely because of the presence of the animals on their special day. However, the thing is that these couples usually pay to have those furry beauties at their weddings. Moreover, we can never know how the owners are treating these animals when we don’t see.

So what if we could look into this situation from a different point of view? What if a couple who love each other as well as our four-legged friends would decide to have a photo shoot in an animal shelter? I am a member of quite a few Facebook groups for brides-to-be and I’ve seen so many questions raised in there about where is the best place to have a wedding photo shoot. Well, you know, it is the heart that is important. So if you truly love animals, maybe this idea won’t be too crazy for you, as you definitely will have a great time cuddling all those furry friends and awesome pictures as well while celebrating your wedding in an animal shelter.

Do something worthwhile on your day

Let’s say that this is your chance to do something great and become a real life hero. It’s no secret that we splurge so much money on weddings. Beautiful venues, good food and stylish decor cost a lot. But if instead you two will decide to celebrate with the animals, you very likely will use some of your wedding funds to make some contributions. Animal shelters always need medications and food supplies, always! Maybe you can buy something they need. This will make you feel amazing! Isn’t this the best way to feel on your wedding day?

And what about a new family member?

I bet you two have discussed already that it would be great to buy a pet after getting married. But I want to urge you to adopt one from the shelter instead. And just imagine, how cool it would be to fall in love with your new family member on the happiest day of your life. This is just awesome!

Love all lifeExpress acts of love and kindness to animals too. We are their guardians.
