According Emma Arendoski from emmalinebride.com, ‘your wedding shoes can make or break your day‘. I think this quote reflects all the truth about ‘that special shoe’ thing . On the one hand, if they won’t be comfortable enough, you will become an angry monster with sore feet soon. On the other hand, good shoes work miraculously for those brides who want to be stylish ones. See – the double magic. But sometimes brides choose comfort instead of style. Oh, please dare to choose original wedding shoes. Yes, I agree that there is time and place for classic wedding heels (I mean if you are classic bride…). But in all other cases you can try to find you personal and unique wedding shoes. I’m not sure if you noticed but I got married wearing authentic leather cowgirl boots. If not, you can see them here. I bought them online and they were sent to Lithuania via courier service. When that courier gave the package to me I was standing in the middle of parking near my car. I tried on the boots immediately. And…. that was them! My magical wedding shoes. In the middle of the parking. It was them. Comfortable and stylish (or at least I wanted to think so, huh). What will be yours? Be brave my dear! And don’t be lazy in your special shoes search. They can be comfortable and… drum roll… stylish at the same time. Yes, absolutely.
P.S. What I like about the above photo so much? Really unique shoes. Ant they look great on tanned legs. And are in harmony with those chamomiles (a little crazy, but outstanding version of bridal bouquet, right?). Have you heard the superstition that bride should never wear open-toe shoes because her happiness will leak through the slit? Nah…. Don’t believe in it. Please. Don’t. I would like to quote Aristotle here. “Happiness depends upon ourselves.” – he said. Yep. What a clever man he was…
