Hey!

Right, so I bet you are familiar with those hanging glass baubles designed to hold tea-candles? They are still crazy popular in event design, especially for big scale, traditional weddings. Well, I have an offer then! Instead of putting hundreds of candles inside these holders (which, by the way, will later go straight to the landfill…), let’s put some plants inside! Let’s make mini terrariums! Let’s help ease the burden on our planet Earth!

Yes, I am the ambassador of celebrations filled with beautiful plants and I will always be, you know me!

Best plants for miniature terrariums

Ok… The idea here is that you need really tiny plants for this project. However, the good news are that next to succulents and cactus (which are quite popular for this purpose) there are quite a lot different kinds of mini plants (check Pinterest). From grasses and miniature ferns, to super tiny orchids and other unbelievable small blooming plants – there are many options available! You can easily choose plants matching your wedding style and even colour scheme!

What’s next?

After the wedding you can simply save the tiny beauties and plant them into few bigger, more suitable planters and keep them at home. Or simply donate them to any hospital or care home! Please bring some joy to people who are sick and lonely!!
