However, while having the best summer ever and for a second month living on the Mediterranean coast I just could not help myself! Moreover, I think that using driftwood is one of the most sustainable and budget – friendly ways to decorate your reception. So, having all this in mind, taaa daam:

Obviously, it’s the best balanced for beach or nautical themed wedding. On the other hand, the fantasy is the limit while using driftwood in your wedding. Maybe you gonna celebrate by the lake or the riverside, for example, so this is very suitable as well.
However, even though you can pick up your driftwood for free, it will take some effort to make such a design. This one requires to make tiny holes with a drill into each piece of drift wood which can later be attached together using elastic cord meant for jewellery making. Just imagine that you are making kind of oversized stretch bead bracelets for which peaces of wood instead of ordinary beads are used! But the good news are that on the wedding day it is very easy and fuss-free to use these to hold together the lightweight fabric pieces hanged on the chairs.
