Is wedding confetti green?

Wedding ceremony. Empty guest chairs row outdoors on natural summer landscape. Wedding confetti - green leaves. Eco friendly confetti

Well, usually confetti (at least as we know it) is colourful, whatever it be pieces of paper or biodegradable flower petals. However, it can be green in all means. I mean, green in colour and environmentally friendly as well! So, if you want to be more eco-conscious and… like the colour, you could use simple green leaves from yours or your friend’s garden. You can pick them up on the evening before your big day.

Are you saying ‘NO’ just because you want some sparkle??

I have an answer to you! Instead of using confetti made from metallic material you can choose plants with silver foliage like lamb’s ear, sage or aromatic eucalyptus. It is totally OK to mix dark green, light green and grey (silver) leaves if you want to catch more attention. To go further, just imagine mixed coloured autumn leaves for upcoming season….

But what about packing? Well, I would suggest 100% recycled paper bags… Usually you can buy like a pack of 100 of them for something like few pounds. Yes, basically they are the ones commonly used in farmers markets. Foliage + brown recycled paper bags… Such a sustainable and biodegradable duo! (Sorry, excuse me… I am still under heavy influence of my recent eco-friendly interview with Daniele Airi…)

Just roll the bags, put some leaves inside and leave on the ceremony chairs!

Perfectly balanced for the outdoor ceremony!
