As you probably now, purple is one of the most popular wedding colours. But this year it is even more striking, because violet is the Pantone colour of the year. Well, to be honest, I was never a big fan of this colour. Though I changed my opinion now after making my own Violet Vibes mood board… And I understood that you don’t need those ugly, shiny purple ribbons around your waist on your dress, all purple bouquets and heavy chair covers at all. What about trying something new?
Look at this amazing amethyst ring which inspired this mood board! So many beautiful shades of violet we can see in it! Why not to try to find more around us?
What about amazing hydrangea petals to be used instead rose confetti? And purple fluorite – mineral, which symbolizes protection – to be used as your table cards with breathtaking calligraphy on it? Purple velvet jacket for the groom? Well, fashion people know very well, that this fabric continue to capture hearts! Ohh, and amazing plums! Imagine stunning vases full of these spectacular fruits! Such an inspiring decor element in deep, rich hues! Add some ‘Purple Pearls’ (Echeveria succulent plants), some pieces of purple died natural fabrics and you will have amazing decor for your celebration! Then – just lemon sugar cookies with violet marble icing for your sweet table, purple smoke bomb for jaw-drop worthy pictures and maybe some neon lights for the evening part. What do you think?
Ahh, and something for the bride, right?
Just accent, of course (we don’t want to go too much into purple this time, right?). What about outstanding purple orchids in neutral colours bridal bouquet? Just a few…
