What dress you will wear in colder weather?
It seems like dresses with long sleeves are ancient relics. Well, in old times to demonstrate nude body was vulgar and profane behaviour. I guess that before 150 years a girl, who intended to wear a today’s normal wedding dress without even short sleeves and demonstrate an elegant line of the shoulders and back, should listen a local priest‘s sermon and go around the church on her knees three times (if not worse …). However, if we are seriously talking about this, I should notice, that the weddings itself definitely are not the invention of modern times. And I would like to quote brides.com here: „if you are of the mindset that a long-sleeved wedding dress implies a conservative, cautious attitude, think again.“
So maybe we can justify the long-sleeved dress? It‘s a real salvation for colder weather! Well, unless you want to chatter teeth and stand with blue lips. More over – long-sleeved dresses match to many various styles like classical, bohemian, retro or rustic wedding style. Would like to create a Royal image? Here you are: long sleeves made from lace, big tulle skirt with long train and the effect is reached! Stylish and not so cold… What else do you need?..
