Pretty much everyone uses blooms and greenery for their arrangements. Do you dare to show some… roots?

Spring is here and… love is in the air!

… and narcissus are blooming again.

Oh, I love narcissus! But do I like these beauties so much that I could (literally) take their bulbs out of the mud and use them to decorate a wedding table??! I mean, with all the roots exposed..?

Hell, yes!!!

I know, I know. Looks super strange and almost… inappropriate!

Especially in the context of all the polished luxury floral arrangements honouring the culture of peonies and David Austin roses. Uuuuuuu! But you know me… I am everything about these kind of things. I would dare to say that this idea is a real spring statement! Besides, it wouldn’t cost anything if you would take some narcissus from the garden, would it? Well, we definitely would have to wash the roots carefully considering that the bulbs will be put on the plates. Umm, looks somehow… unclean. Veh, roots, you know. But bare with me! Look, aren’t we washing all the vegetables and fruits before we consume them? And should I remind that they all come from the soil and we EAT them, not only use for decoration purposes. Could we take some risk for the sake of originality? Come on, just this time! Pleeeeeeaaase…

Not sure if I managed to convince you. But, personally, I’m still in love this crazy idea.

….and I love spring so much!..

Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments! And…

… dare to be different!
