What’s common between recycled paper crafts and signature cocktails?
We can do many things out of waste paper. However, I bet you haven’t ever thought about using it to decorate your cocktails on your wedding day, have you? I think the connection between the actions of recycling some paper and decorating your signature cocktails can be found in the quality of being authentic. Just imagine: a professional creates truly original and one-of-a-kind cocktail recipe for you both and you decorate it using, for example, recycling yours and your husband’s-to-be favourite magazines. Oh so cool, isn’t it?
Super easy idea to elevate your drinks reception to the next level of sustainable aesthetics
So, the things are just as easy as that: you will need some natural bamboo skewers, any kind of waste paper or cardboard, a pair of scissors and a template in a heart shape. Oh, and a pen or a marker to draw hearts on the paper Unless, of course, you can cut nicely shaped hearts without any templates, ha ha (I can’t though). After making the waste paper hearts (and these, however, don’t even have to be perfect in shape, as cutting defects are so charming!) you will need some glue (super glue, paper glue or even hot glue) to attach these hearts to the skewers. And voila! Your very own sustainable and very unique cocktail sticks!
