Everyone who come up with the idea to start a blog evidently encounters with one scary question: how to decide what to blog about? How to choose a topic that matters? It seams that there are websites about everything imaginable. How to find your niche? Actually I don’t know the golden rule. But I personally believe that you must blog about the topic that makes you feel exited. So that’s what I am going to do. Wedding style and decoration ideas are the topics that makes me go wild. To say the truth that’s how the name BrideGoesWild was born.

However it is just one half of the story. Because the word ‘wild‘ means something more for me. I got married last year. And I chosen wedding style and all decorations by myself. Actually I was making all those invitations, tables and cake decorations, decorations for photo shoot, wedding gifts, the bride accessories and even bouquets and boutonnieres etc. with my own hands. And the world ‘wild‘ was hiding in my wedding theme. My husband Tadas (actually the future husband of that time) was (is) a farmer. And because I was always admiring the American history, western culture and cowboys, Wild West become my inspiration for my own western style wedding with Lithuanian farmer.

The case is that I loved the preparation for my weddings. Actually I am still surfing the internet for newest wedding trends and turn around into the shop windows of wedding dresses stores when I am passing by… That’s why I finally make up my mind to start a wedding blog.

So that’s my story in short words. Please share yours in comments.

By the way, you can see some photos of our wedding day in the photo gallery below.
